After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1998 with distinction in the subject of Orthodontics/Paediatric dentistry, Dr Marina Teh underwent further training to specialise in Orthodontics (Braces) to obtain the degree of Master of Dental Surgery. She is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in Edinburgh (Orthodontics) and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore. She is accredited by the Dental Specialist Accreditation Board and registered with the Singapore Dental Council as a Specialist in the field of Orthodontics. Passionate to share her clinical knowledge and experiences, she is also a Clinical Tutor at the National University of Singapore and is involved in training the Orthodontic Postgraduate students.
Her interests lie in orthodontic treatment for children and treatment involving combined orthodontics and orthognathic surgery. She is also experienced in using self-ligating braces systems such as Smart-clip and InOvation.
An active member of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), she has been organising numerous Orthodontic symposiums held in Singapore for both local and foreign delegates.
